Welcome to Riglos!

Located at the feet of the Pyrenees, between the Bardenas Reales and the Sierra of Guara, the Mallos of Riglos rise up in all their splendour. High peaks of conglomerate, the Mallos are famous all over Europe since they are one of the best climbing areas you may find. With a height of approximately 980 feet, they challenge every climber to reach their top!

However Riglos is not only the perfect place to go climbing, it is also an idyllic place for hiking, observing the nature or for practising sports.

We bet you love hiking! There are lots of footpaths that permit to get closer to the giant Mallos which offer a breathtaking view of the valley below. The hiking departure is from the refuge.

Maybe you prefer observing the nature? In this marvellous environment, the fauna and flora are astonishingly rich and diversified, don’t forget your binoculars, vultures will be constantly flying overhead, the most lucky of you may see golden eagles!

From beginners to thrill seekers, everyone will find the activity that best pleases them. We propose a wide range of sports such as Rafting, Canoe, Bungee jumping, Canyoning. Please check our range of activities for further information.

The light rains and a fair sun make Riglos the perfect place to go at every time of the year. In summer you can enjoy the swimming pool of the village or you may prefer the natural water pools of the river Gàllego 15 minutes away from the refuge.
